General rate x 160% = Priority rate

Priority freight comes with a next flight guarantee and is available on all our scheduled flights. Priority freight should be delivered to NAC at least two hours before the scheduled flight.

Priority freight is guaranteed on our next scheduled flight or we will refund you the difference between the Priority rate and the General rate.

Calculating the priority rate for sending a 72 lb. widget to Bethel from Anchorage works as follows;

72 lb.x .74 = $53.28
$53.28 x 160% (Priority rate) = $85.25
$85.25 x (12% (fuel) = $95.48
$95.48 x 6.25% (tax) = $101.45 total charges
