Northern Air Cargo subsidiary, NACLink, began operating as an independent company owned by Saltchuk Resources on March 1st. The company has adopted a new name, Alta Air Logistics. Alta Air Logistics provides innovative logistics and transportation services for clients in Alaska and around the world. We offer high quality solutions for customers operating in a variety of environments and experiencing unique challenges.

Alta Air can move freight for you in any volume at whatever speed you require to and from Alaska, within the contiguous US and internationally. We will use multi-modal, air transport or any other appropriate means to ensure that your valuable shipments arrive on time and in perfect condition. Seamless service is the key to Alta Air's performance.

Priority Service:

This service provides a 1-2 day transit time, airport-airport. Both package and freight rates are offered to accommodate any size of shipment. Items over 145 pounds must move on a pallet or in a crate. Maximum weight per pallet or crate is 2000 pounds. The maximum height is 68 inches; the maximum length is 118 inches. Transit times are in business days only. Extended and residential deliveries can be provided at an additional cost.

General Service:

This service provides a 3-5 day transit time, airport-airport. General service also offers package and freight rates. Items over 145 pounds must move on a pallet or in a crate. Maximum weight per pallet or crate is 2000 pounds. The maximum height is 68 inches; the maximum length is 118 inches. Transit times are in business days only. Extended and residential deliveries can be provided at an additional cost.

Economy Service:

This service provides a 3-4 days transit time, dock-dock. This service is our most popular, providing quick transit times from Seattle to Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska at affordable rates. Alta Air Logistics has two departures from Seattle, Friday and Tuesday. Arriving in Anchorage and Fairbanks on Monday and Friday. Pick up and delivery service is available at an additional cost.

Deferred Service:

7-14 days transit time, dock-dock. This service is effective for large or heavy shipments. Alta has two departures from Seattle/Anchorage weekly.

All shipments are subject to dimensional weight factors.
