Collect Shipments

Northern Air Cargo is changing its policy regarding freight shipments designated for collect payment, effective January 1, 2010. A NAC representative will contact customers regarding payment for collect shipments if the total charges exceed $300.00. Such shipments will be put on hold until payment can be arranged. We value all of our customers and we hope this change will not be an inconvenience. Please call us toll free at 800-727-2141 or in Anchorage at 243-3331 for questions regarding this new policy.

Sonny Lindner, the winner of the 3rd Annual Herbie Nayokpuk Award

Lindner was judged by the checkers along the coast from Unalakleet to Nome to most exhibit the spirit of the race that Herbie Nayokpuk brought to the Iditarod and to life in general. Lindner is an Iditarod veteran from Two Rivers, AK. Also pictured are Elizabeth Nayokpuk, Herbie's wife, and Myna Nayokpuk, their daughter.

Robert Nelson, winner of the 2nd Annual NAC 4-Wheel Deal

Robert Nelson, from Kotzebue, AK drew the winning key in the NAC 4-Wheel Deal. Each finishing Iditarod racer gets a chance to win a new ATV courtesy of Northern Air Cargo and Eagle River Polaris Arctic Cat. This was Nelson's second year racing in the Iditarod and he says he will use the 4-wheeler for training his dogs in the summer.
