NORTHERN AIR CARGO EXPANDS FLEET SIZE, CAPABILITIES
Northern Air Cargo is adding a 737-300 aircraft to its fleet. The aircraft will be used to support existing Alaska business as well as the company's expanding presence in the US domestic and international cargo markets.
The larger aircraft will carry approximately 10,000 pounds more freight and is more fuel efficient than the 737-200 which is the backbone of the company's existing fleet. "The 300 represents the next step for our company as we seek to continue modernizing our infrastructure and the services we can provide our customers", said David Karp, NAC President & Chief Executive Officer.
Northern Air Cargo expects to take delivery of the aircraft in Anchorage by November 1 of this year.
