The Fleet

Our fleet currently consists of two types of aircraft in all cargo configurations to serve your needs. All of our aircraft are used for general service and are all available for charter and flagstop service.

737

Boeing 737

NAC's newest aircraft, our Boeing 737-200 jets carry up to 30,000 pounds. We rely on these planes to provide fast and efficient service to state-maintained, paved runways over 5,000 feet. These aircraft come equipment with both roller deck flooring, for quick loading of palletized freight, and hard floors to accommodate oversized freight. The large cargo door allows us to carry oversized freight on our scheduled service, in addition to many charter applications throughout Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and the rest of the Pacific Rim.

  • All cargo configuration for freight including oversize and hazmat
  • Payloads up to 30,000 pounds
  • Approximately 2 hour round trip flight time from Anchorage to Bethel

DC-6

DC-6 - Front

Our workhorse DC-6 aircraft have a long and proud history with Northern Air Cargo. This aircraft was designed and proven for the conditions that currently exist in much of rural Alaska: remote, unmanned, gravel strips sprinkled throughout the backcountry. These extraordinarily specialized aircraft remain unmatched for rugged durability and workmanship. All our DC-6's can land on paved, gravel, and ice strips in support of remote project and construction sites. They are capable of carrying payloads up to 28,000 lbs and require a minimum 3,500 foot runway for safe operation.
