Ability to move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Ability to stand on ladders for up to 2 hours. Must possess a valid Alaska drivers license with good driving record for past five years. Regular attendance and shift work is required. Assisting customers with freight delivery and pick-up in accordance with all local, state, federal, and Company rules and regulations. Accepting and transferring mail from and to other airlines, pick-up and delivery of mail from and to the Post Office, and delivery of Bypass mail to the customers in accordance with the rules and regulations established by the Post Office and the company. Loading and unloading of all manifested freight and mail in accordance with prescribed handling procedures. Answer incoming calls and monitor the phones. Complete and accurate entry of air bills and information into the computer system. Operating ground equipment in a safe manner. Perform building and ground maintenance in order to promote a safe work environment and professional company image. Regular attendance and shift work is required. Other duties may be assigned. |
