| Position Description / Objective: | The Catering Agent is responsible for all catering duties associated with each aircraft departure. They report directly to the Director of Ground Operations on a daily basis. They must be able to work independently with little supervision. They are responsible for building up and maintaining the catering inventory as well as the aircraft consumable stock. They are also required to fill in regular ramp duties when assigned.
Essential duties and responsibilities of the position are: to build up and tear down catering trolleys based on specific diagrams for each trolley; maintain the kitchen and aircraft catering equipment in a hygienic fashion; drive the catering truck to and from the aircraft; operate the hydraulic system of the catering truck; be able to move and handle 300lb rolling trolleys; cater to the exact diagrams for each aircraft type and flight; ramp duties as assigned by the Director of Ground Operations; shift work is required and possible assigned overtime; clean the kitchen, stock room, and other areas as assigned. |
| Required skills and experience: | Must be at least 21 years old. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must posses a valid Alaska drivers license with a good driving record. Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills. Must be able to read documents, follow instructions, learn and understand operation procedures, rules and regulations. | Position Description / Objective: | The Passenger Ramp Supervisor is directly responsible for safe ground operations at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport by working with the Ground Services Contacts Manager, Ramp Trainer, Passenger Ramp Leads, Passenger Ramp Agents, Cargo Agents, and/or Contract Employees. The Passenger Ramp Supervisor shall be responsible to direct and coordinate all ground services in support of all clients/customers. Oversees all ramp operations to ensure aircraft are serviced and cleaned to customers’ specifications. Will coordinate to assure adequate staffing based on the client’s daily flight schedule & accommodates all delays. Assures training classes for ramp personnel are completed to maintain safe ground operations. Coordinates between the ramp and GSE when equipment must be taken off line for repair. Carries out supervisory responsibilities and daily safety briefs in accordance with NAC company policies and departmental policies. Displays a positive, friendly attitude with customers and employees at all times. Prepares and approves timesheets. Approves paid time off and arranges coverage for staff. Travel may be required. | Required skills and experience: | Bachelors degree preferably in aviation; equivalent work experience will be considered. Must possess a valid Alaska Drivers License and a good driving record. Must have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in the airline industry. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and have a good working knowledge of heavy aircraft passenger operations. Must have a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office suite applications.

Ticket agents will be responsible for retrieving and updating of passenger data from the Sabre system (or the client's specific system) associated with all aspects of ticketing domestic and international reservations; processing of passenger manifests; delvering flight operations paperwork to flight crews; coordinating passenger boarding; coordinating with ramp leads; coordinating with client's on site station manager; reconciliation of cash drawers, credit cards, and vouchers; aircraft cabin cleaning; monitoring the baggage claim and assisting passengers with baggage issues; arrange for delivery of miss-handled baggage. Other duties as assigned by Director of Ground Operations and ticket agent leads. |

Coordinate the month end close process, review and post journal entries, and analyze financial performance vs. approved budget. Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and maintain fixed asset records. Review and supervise the completion of payroll tax filings, property tax returns and ensure timely filing. Complete monthly DOT filings, excise tax deposits, 401(k) deposits and other regulatory filings as assigned. Develop and maintain records retention policy. Other duties as assigned. |
| Required skills and experience: | Four year degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of strong general ledger and GAAP experience. A CPA or CPA-track candidate is highly desirable. Position duties include maintaining the technical publications database, distributing company manuals and revisions, editing text and manipulating images, scanning documents, placing graphics, maintaining various company libraries, and other duties as assigned. |
| Required skills and experience: | Must be highly organized and able to follow written and verbal instructions. Must possess high school diploma or equivalent. Excellent computer skills (i.e. word processing, graphics manipulation). Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Observe through attention to detail. Experience in the aviation industry a plus.
The work is classified as “light” in regards to physical demands. Lifting requirements: Heavy boxes weighing 25 lbs, light office supplies, stacks of paper and computer print outs. Carts may be pushed loaded with office supplies and/or computer printouts that may weigh 10 to 15 lbs. Pulling will be required such as paper trays in copy machines and file drawers. Climbing may be required up and down low step ladders, stooping is necessary for low file drawers and/or to retrieve supplies from the floor or under desks, kneeling and crouching may be required for filing. Reaching to the top of file cabinets or shelves is required; materials handled will consist of general office supplies and copy machine toner and ink. Talking is required at least 50% of the day; on the phone at least 5% of the day. Reciprocal communication required at least 75% of the day. Good vision is required to process reports, input data, read correspondence, and proof read documents and letters being sent out. Good hearing is required to communicate on the phone and while attending meetings. A high degree of language skills is required for this position. College levels are desired. This is a skilled position. |
